Atlanta City Council to consider $4.7M project management agreement with PATH for Proctor Creek Greenway Segment 4

ATLANTA — The Atlanta City Council will consider a resolution authorizing a $4.7 million project management agreement with the Path Foundation for the Proctor Creek Greenway Segment 4 project (25-R-3003).
Other items on the agenda include:
- A resolution providing $3.7 million for the communication and audio-visual systems at the City’s Emergency 911 Operations Center including architectural planning, design, engineering and construction phase services (25-R-3002).
- An ordinance authorizing an application for the 2025 Global Mayors Challenge Funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies for $1 million to build a community curbside composting program (25-O-1002).
- A resolution approving a $400,000 donation to the Olmstead Linear Park Alliance, a non-profit organization founded in 1997 to raise funds for the park’s restoration and preservation. (25-R-3007).
- An ordinance seeking a $175,000 Nutrition Access, Affordability and Education Grant from the African American Mayors Association and the American Beverage Foundation for a Healthy America (25-O-1003).
- An ordinance providing a definition of “yard trimmings” and including them in the definition of “litter” so that it will be a violation of the Litter Control Ordinance to throw, dump, sweep, push, blow, deposit, or leave yard trimmings on private or public property (25-O-1006).
The City Council will present proclamations and recognitions to civic and community leader Lucy Sharpe.
